10/25/11: Ty pooped on the potty for the first time! The funny thing is, it was self initiated. He was yelling "poo poo" from his chair towards the end of dinner. I said "okay go ahead" and he yell, "no mama poo pa". I think to myself "what are you saying" and when I look over he's pointing at the bathroom. I ask him if he wants to go poo poo on the potty and I got an enthusiastic "YEA". I rushed over and quickly cleaned all of the yogurt off of his hands and got him on the potty. He sat for over 20 minutes reading his Daddy's ESPN and Sporting News magazines narrating every page....and sure enough, he pooped and peed in the potty. What a big boy! Tyler Colby, we are so proud of you!!!! (for some reason it won't let me upload the picture, so I'll try again tomorrow)10/26/11: pooped 2 times in the toilet and only 1 time in the diaper.
10/27/11: Told Rita (our nanny) that he needed to pee 2 times and did in the potty. Pooped 2 times and peed one more time. The cover of the ESPN magazine has a picture of Tim Tebow (Uncle Ryan's favorite football player). I told Ty this the night before. Tonight of the potty, he was yelling "Read the Tebow, Read the Tebow"....pretty funny! It's amazing how motivated he is to use the potty because he gets to read Daddy's sports magazines! "Read a madazeeee" (magazine)...
Should we start potty training for real???? I better start reading up about this....I feel so unprepared.
