We've been prepping for Halloween for a long time. A couple weeks ago, I went on the computer with Ty and showed him 8 different costumes and asked him to choose what he wanted to be. There was no question in his mind; he wanted to be a "football pwaya" (player). At that point, I decided we would have a little UVA family theme. Tyler was the football player, I was the cheerleader, and J.D. was the football coach....and you better believe that Tyler could tell you what each of us was going to be.
Tyler's been tons reading Halloween books (a lot of them courtesy of his Gee Gee Suz). He knows the names of all his books. He has the Big Halloween book, the Halloween book, the Trick or Treat book, the Amelia Bedillia book, the pumpkin book, etc.
Ty and I colored a big Halloween poster together (he seriously spent over 20 minutes coloring...pretty impressive for a guy that is always on the move).
We put up all the Halloween decorations and he loves talking about all of them!
We picked out the perfect pumpkin.
Finally, it was time to carve the pumpkin. First, Ty and I made a pumpkin on starfall.com to help him decide what shapes he wanted for the eyes, nose and mouth. He loved it. Then we carved the pumpkin with Daddy. What a hit!
Let me introduce you to your newest UVA Cavalier football star! Tyler Colby Moss!
Check out Alex helping Lizzie go in for the hug.....and trust me, Ty and Lizzie need no help. They were hugging and smooching all night on Friday.
