I took Ty to the doctor on Thursday because he was throwing up after every feeding the day before. We had our first sleepless night so far...which seems pretty lucky to me. He is now doing fine and isn't throwing up, so we think he was just getting too much milk. He was weighed at the doctors....drum roll please......
Date: May 7, 2010 (2 days after his due date)
Weight: 7 lbs, 7 oz

J.D. and I went on our first date night, just the two of us. Grammy Susie and Pops (J.D.'s parents) babysat, while we went to Acadiana. We had a great meal and enjoyed our time out!
Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there, but especially to my mom and J.D.'s mom! Being a mom makes me really appreciate my own mom and the sacrifices that moms make on a daily basis for their children. What an exciting first Mother's Day! Ty is such a blessing to us all! We love you Tyler! Thanks for making me such a happy Mom!

Tomorrow, Ty will be 4 weeks old...and in 2 days, he'll be 1 month old! It's amazing how time flies....
