Week 3: Playing Golf, Concert, haircut, more awake time

Week 3 has been very busy.  Zachary is still sleeping wonderfully during the night.  He's not so fond of taking a morning nap and prefers to snack in the morning more often than eating a big meal.  He'll often fall asleep after only 5-10 minutes of eating and is very hard to arouse.  This makes it a little more difficult to do fun things with Tyler in the morning, but I've had wonderful help from both of the moms.  Thank you so much!!!

Despite this, we've been very busy and have been having a great time!

Tyler continues to say the funniest and sweetest things:
  • While snuggling in bed this morning, Tyler put his hand gently on my cheek and said "mommy, you're a good mommy." I think my life is now complete. Thank you Tyler for making me feel so special. I am so lucky.
  • This is what negotiating with my two year old is like: "Mommy, how 'bout this deal? I'll go to the ice cream social right now and then I'll get a haircut after my nap. How 'bout that deal?" .....SERIOUSLY????
Here's what we've been up to:

I took Ty and Zachary to a concert at Jamin' Java (Banjo Man).  Tyler loved it!!! Here are some videos and pictures from the concert.

Tyler had a sleepover this week at Pops and Gee Gee Sue's house.  After, we went to the club to watch Ty play some golf.  He's pretty good and has a wonderful teacher (Pops!!) Zachary rode on his first golf cart.  (Thanks Dad for touching up these pics and putting them in an order that makes it look like a movie!!)
