They did Wheels on the Bus while swinging the babies through the pool, attempting to blow bubbles (Tyler did drink some water, but he also blew one bubble!), and then a 15 minute lecture while the babies were freezing in the pool (not very smart...we didn't realize that it was "Water Babies Lecture Series"...hopefully that was just because it was the first class.)
See the pictures and videos below! He'll be all ready to go to Aruba in a month!

Tyler also had his 9 month well visit on 1/18/11. Here are his stats:
Weight: 18 lbs, 8 oz. (20th%)
Height: 28 1/2 in. (60th%)
Head Circumference: 16 3/4 (40th%) (...huge catch up growth!!...go Ty!)
Don't forget that Ty was in the <5th% for all of these stats when he was born 3 1/2 weeks early, so this is all FABULOUS! Once again, the doctor commented on how strong he was!
She really wants us to continue to work on finger foods with Ty to help refine his pincer grasp (thumb to finger grasp to help pick up small things). Yesterday, I tried some shredded cheddar cheese on his tray, which he loved! Eating makes quite a mess these days, but I suppose that's how it's supposed to be!
Tyler is also talking so much! He is calling J.D. "Da da" pretty consistently and he is calling me "da da" or "mama" or Maba" or "bama" (he gets his /b/ and his /m/ sounds mixed up sometimes). When J.D. calls me from work, Ty will look at his picture on the phone and say "dada" with the biggest smile on his face!
...oh I love this age!
