5 month pictures: 9/15/10
Here's what Tyler has been up to over the past month: Crawling, jumping, UVA football, Richmond, Ginger, and eating solids!
- Jumping in his Jumparoo --when he first started jumping, it looked like he was doing the 2 step, because he would just bounce back and forth between his left foot and his right foot, but now, he really jumps! Check out the latest video:
- Tyler went to his first UVA football game-GO HOOS!! He had a hard time falling asleep at the beginning of the game, but once he did, he slept for half of the game and woke up for the 2nd half and enjoyed the game, even though the Hoos lost.
Guess who's sleeping under that shirt???
- On our way to Charlottesville, we stopped in Richmond to see Aunt Allie and Robert, Lauren, and Rob!
- Ty has also been eating like crazy! He's now eating twice/day! Here's the order of the food we've given him: rice cereal, sweet potatoes, carrots, avocado, banana, oatmeal, butternut squash, and acorn squash. He has liked them all!! Making my own baby food is so fun and easy! Up next is peas and green beans! He also just finished his 6 month growth spurt which lasted a whopping week and a half.....WAY longer than any other growth spurt (which have ranged from 1-3 days). Tyler usually eats 6 oz of breast milk 5 times/day. His eating didn't change that much during most of the days, but for his night bottle he was eating between 10-12 oz. every night. He was also up in the middle of the night maybe 5 of those nights to eat 1-2 times...he really was starving. Thank goodness it ended, because we were exhausted!
Work continues to be going great for me! I love my job and I love being able to be home with Tyler as well!
Bath time is still Tyler's special time with Daddy. Most nights, Daddy also puts Tyler to bed. I feel like Tyler is already forming different relationships with both J.D. and I and that is really neat to see. It's hard to explain...maybe over time I'll be able to pinpoint exactly what it is. We just love our sweet little boy!!
