We're having a BOY!!!!!

Well, despite what all of the masses thought (including both J.D. and I), we are having a BOY!!!

We had our big ultrasound yesterday and they said that everything looks great! It lasted a long time (about 45 minutes) because they had to examine, take pictures, and measure every body part and every organ. Before we started, the sonographer asked us if we wanted to know the sex and we said "YES!!" The sonographer told us that if the baby's butt was against my cervix, it's really hard to tell what the sex is because of the position. Sure enough, as soon as she started, she told us that Munchkin was in this position...ugh!!! She said hopefully the baby would turn and we would be able to see a little bit later. Not until 30 minutes later did Munchkin turn around! ...This is the second doctor that said we have a stubborn little baby. I guess that makes sense when you look at who his parents are :) When he finally started to show himself, he wasn't shy at all. He was spread eagle and it was very easy to tell that he was a boy!

We are both so thrilled! We really want at least one of each so when we found out, it was one of the most exciting and memorable moments in my life (and I think J.D.'s too). It seems so real now that the baby has a gender. It's really a whole different way of looking at things!

The sonographer said that they usually only give one ultrasound picture, but because I asked, she practically gave me a whole album. I'll try to scan these and post them early next week!!
