Rolling Stone Gathers Tyler Colby & Zachary Bennett Moss: Happy Birthday Zachary!!!

It's hard to believe. Where has the time gone!?!

Milestones:

Approximately 100 words (word approximations)
Starting to put some 2 words approximations together
He says 'love you" ("ya ya" or "ya you")
He can identify all of the people in our family (including grandparents and aunt/uncle) and he can name them all as well.
He has started to sing songs
Follows 1-2 step directions
Understands absolutely everything
Yells "mama" from his crib
walking holding 1 hand, 11 months
standing without holding, 11 months, 1 wk
walking 11.5 months,
Really walking 12.5 months
6 teeth-12 months (4 on top, two on bottom)
8 teeth, 12 mo, 3 wks, 4 top, 4 bottom)
At 12 months, he occasionally takes only 1 nap and we will start thinking about dropping the morning nap.

Zachary is the happiest baby...or should I say toddler. He just loves life and he is such a love. He is constantly coming over to give you a hug or a kiss or a head snuggle. He just worships Tyler and wants to be just like him. He loves tackling his Daddy (along with Tyler) and really only wants to play with big boy toys.

Tyler is just the best teacher. I swear he teaches Zachary how to talk more than I do!

He just LOVES reading. We started reading to the kids together for bed time. They each get to pick one book. Zachary can't really sit long enough to listen to Tyler's book, but he picks his book and climbs right into my lap. His favorite books are:

Llama Llama board books
Goodnight Moon
The Very Hungry Caterpiller
The Pets I love

His picture albums
Pat the Bunny
Big Wheels

Zachary's birthday party was perfect weather! Everyone had a great time! The theme was "Let's have "ball" for Zachary's birthday" (since he loves balls!) There were 20 beach balls all over our back yard for everyone to play with and each kid got to take one home as the party favor (thanks Suz for all of those ideas!)
