Father's Day with Buh Puh=learning to use his tool set
Playdate with Alex and Lizzie
Check out these big kids eating at the picnic table while the adults ate at the big table!
Tyler is cheering for himself after he threw the ball to his friend Alex:
Father's Day with Daddy went something like this:
Ty:"Daddy will you mow the lawn with me?"
JD: "Ty why don't you mow the lawn with your mower."
Ty: "Daddy mow the lawn with me"
JD: "It's Father's Day, Ty and I don't want to mow the lawn"
.....looks like Ty won.....
Pops taught Tyler two jokes. Here's a video of the joke delivery. See translation below:
"I'm going to tell you a dirty joke: The boy rolled in the mud"
"I'm going to tell you a clean joke: The boy went in the bath"
....Pretty funny!
Buh
Puh (my dad) has decided to influence Ty's taste in
music...specifically to the Beatles. Tyler now has a picture of the
Beatles and can name all of the members of the band. Here's Tyler
singing his favorite song: "Oh Bla Dee Oh Bla Da"
Here is Tyler singing "We All Live in a Yellow Submarine"
Here's Tyler with his new tennis racket (he's been saying all week that he wanted a tennis racket. He and J.D. played yesterday at the court with J.D.'s adult racket. Chasing a tennis ball is very exciting.....
Yesterday was Ellie's Bat Mitzvah. It was so much fun!

At the party, Ty insisted on dancing with the big kids the whole night!
Eating Mac & Cheese, chicken fingers, and watermelon! YUM!
The DJ made Ty the Dancing Mascot and he got to get all of the props too! This morning at breakfast, Ty informed us that he wanted to be a DJ when he grows up. He also said he wanted to have a DJ at his birthday when he turns 3!
A family picture!

Loving on Mommy at the end of the night....exhausted!
Funny Things this week:
- When asked how old he was (and he definitely knows he's two), he said "10" then "7", and "9" and laughed
- "I have a baby in my tummy and his name is dump truck baby"
- "I'm going to pitch a gem" (J.D. clearly taught him that)
- "I want to be a lawyer when I grow up, just like my Daddy"
- After asking for a bite of J.D.'s sandwich, J.D. brought it over to him and Ty said "Wait until I'm done chewing Daddy."
Update on Baby Bluey:
The doctor said that the baby is very VERY low (head first!!) and that I'm having a lot of braxton hicks contractions. Given my history of having Ty almost a month early, I really need to take it easy-pretty much minimal activity when I'm not working and I need to work less. Starting this week, I will cut back at work to only 2 days/week for 2-5 hours/day. J.D., my parents, JD's parents, and Fern have been helping SO much with watching Ty and doing a lot of the house work things that I'm not allowed to do like dishes, laundry, cleaning, picking up toys, grocery shopping etc. This has been very hard for me as I'm a really independent person who hates just sitting on the couch. I have the energy of a 2 year old and I like to be doing things all the time! I'm trying to listen to what the doctor says and take the wonderful help I'm given. We just need to keep this baby in another 4 weeks. We're taking it a day at a time and trying to remember that every day I can keep this baby cooking is a good thing. Thanks to everyone for all of their help! We are so lucky to be surrounded by great family and friends!
Week 32: Baby Bluey is a 5 lb Bag of Potatoe

Baby's Length: 18-19 in.
Baby's Weight: 3.75-4 lb.
Baby's Size: 5-lb. bag of potatoes
How your baby's growing:By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

Photographs of babies in utero at this stage show their skin becoming less translucent and pinker, as layers of fat are deposited under the skin. Her skeleton is rapidly ossifying (turning from cartilage into solid bone), which means that kicks will become visible through your shirt as the trimester progresses. Well-placed kicks under your ribs can take your breath away!
This week, your body may start prepping for delivery day by flexing its muscles — literally. If you feel your uterus bunching or hardening periodically, those are practice contractions, otherwise known as Braxton Hicks. These rehearsals (typically experienced earlier and with more intensity in women who've been pregnant before) feel like a tightening sensation that begins at the top of your uterus then spreads downward, lasting from 15 to 30 seconds (though they can sometimes last two minutes or more). What's up with your baby? She's starting to get ready for her big debut, tipping the scales at almost four pounds and topping out at just about 19 inches. In these last few weeks, it's all about practice, practice, practice as she hones the skills she'll need to survive and thrive outside the womb, from swallowing and breathing to kicking and sucking. And speaking of sucking, your little one has been able to suck her thumb for a while now. Another change this week: As more and more fat accumulates under your baby's skin, she's becoming less transparent and more opaque.

- Your baby is up to 3.75 pounds (1702gm) now and is 16.7 inches (42.4cm) long.
- You might notice she's not moving around as much now. Don't worry! She is fine -- just running short on room. She still has plenty of growing to do though, believe it or not!
- All five senses are working. Your little one is fascinated and practicing testing these out as much as possible!
- Toenails are completely formed even though she may not be quite ready for a French manicure.
- Hair on your infant's head continues to grow in.
- Brain
scans have shown that babies have periods of dream sleep (REM) starting
around the eight month. What do you suppose your son is dreaming about?

What a great post! Love you!!!
