Really walking and learning to dip food-14 months!

Tyler's started walking about a month now, but he's still been pretty apprehensive...only taking a few steps here or there...until YESTERDAY!! Check out the walking! Today his walking is even better, he was walking all over Costco! (no video from today yet...)

Listen to him say "mama, I ya ya" (mama, I love you!)...melts my heart every time!



Here is Tyler dipping some mango into yogurt...what a mess! He sure does love it!


Speech-Language Update:

• Also, Ty is now calling himself "Ty Ty" (which is how he tries to say "Tyler").
• He is consistently signing and saying "please" (/p/) after almost everything he requests (i.e. "wa wa puh"--water please)
• He is saying more two syllable words
• He's using 2-4 word approximations (mama, muh buh puh-mama more bib please (while pointing to the bib drawer and signing please).
  
• Answering more wh-questions -who, what, where, and some very simple why ?s (why don't we touch fire....because it's "ha", where's daddy--"wa" (work), who's coming to play?

Tyler love his friend Eve! They are playing at the water table together! I think was his real motivation for walking yesterday! Thank you Eve!
