Friday night was the basketball season opener against Longwood. Luckily we pulled off a win! I spent the majority of the game talking to Lauren and Emily Luck and trying to soak up as much baby knowledge as I could from two very knowledgeable mommies. Thanks ladies!
On Saturday morning, J.D. and I had Bodos before going to see Virginia at Reflections to get my haircut. She is absolutely FABULOUS and by far worth the two hour drive!
On Saturday we went to our first (and last) game of the season (...I know, pick your jaw off this floor. This is very shocking.) As J.D. likes to point out, with the exception of this season, he has only missed 3 UVA football games in the past 8 years. This season will hopefully be an anamoly. It's pretty cool to think that that was the last time the baby is going to go to a football game in my tummy! Next season, we'll have a little munchkin at these tailgates!
We got to spend some quality with J.D.'s fraternity brothers at the Shapiro tailgate. We also made it to Lauren and Robert's tailgate to hang out with lots of adorable babies. Fern and I had some wonderful girl time at the game...much better than watching our horrible football team lose to Boston College.
Our Cville weekend ended with a date night at Boylan Heights for some delicious burgers!
We miss you Charlottesville!!
